Black & White
Light Shots:

Location: My room
Technique: Shadow
Description: The light is shining from the left side. Paris has always been my dream country. I want the word 'PARIS' to be visible therefore i shone the light directly on it. The low angle would make the model look magnificent and thus enhances the aesthetics of the picture.

Location: My room
Technique: Silhouette & Lines
Description: I placed the light a little lower and adjusted the angle until the shadow get to the same size as the model. I think this make the picture special as the model itself has the silhouette effect and there is a shadow casted. It can be confusing but rather amazing as the Eiffel tower look like The Twin Towers in KL.
Decisive Moment:

Location: Singapore Changi Airport
Technique: Silhouette & Reflections
Description: I've always like to tour the airport because of the different feelings different people give me. Every expressions and behaviours of them are decisive moments.

Location: Singapore Changi Airport
Technique: Rule of Thirds
Description: This is perhaps the best moment before boarding the plane. Black & white would make viewer focus more on the subject rather than being distracted by the background.

Location: Singapore Polytechnic Pond
Technique: Rule of Thirds
Description: It takes alot of time to chance upon a dragonfly resting on a stalk of flower. I used digital macro to focus on the insect, which changes the focal length and the aperture effect is effectively demonstrated. With the blurred background, the dragonfly stands out more in the black & white picture.

Location: The Sail Condominium worksite @ Clarke Quay
Technique: Frame within a frame & Lines
Description: I took the picture while they are viewing the scenery from 69th storey. I happened to see a wire mesh and held it up to frame them in. The beam and column also gives the picture a frame. This is quite a special moment as it looks as though they are a couple talking about some serious stuff.
